The Right Engagement Rings are Chosen With Love
An engagement ring is a little thing. At first glance, to someone who has not thought about getting married since she was four or five, someone might think engagement rings are no big deal. They could not be more wrong, at least to the woman they are thinking of proposing to. Engagement rings are a huge deal. These little rings carry a lot of pressure on their finely crafted gold or platinum shoulders. An engagement ring is not just another piece of jewellery. In some cases, the right ring is the difference between yes or no. In all cases, the ring has to be something she will want to wear for the rest of her life. It has to be something that represents the union between two people and something that symbolizes the love those two people share. A lot of thought and planning must go into this perfect engagement ring. It is a step toward a new life, and it needs to be a step made on a firm foundation.
Choosing the wrong ring does not mean choosing a ring that did not cost a fortune or is not huge. The wrong ring is one that was picked hastily. It was picked without considering how it fits the woman who will wear it, and without considering if she will love it forever. To a woman, the wrong ring is the ring that says the man who chose it was not really thinking of her when he chose it. Every woman does not need a customized, designed-especially-for-her engagement ring. But she does need one that says the man who is offering it loved her enough to pick out a ring he believed was the right ring for her, one that would make her the happiest woman on earth.
Some women want a traditional engagement ring. A solitaire diamond on a platinum band. Some women love the story behind a ring. An heirloom from passed down from his grandmother or an antique ring that has seen its fair share of love stories. Some women love the modern twists of a contemporary band, and some women love the warmth of yellow gold. There is no right or wrong engagement ring, as long as the engagement ring is chosen with love.
